The signing of the Cooperation Agreement between GRATA International Association and Legum Solis marks the formal beginning of a partnership that has since grown into a meaningful and productive collaboration spanning multiple practice areas and jurisdictions.
GRATA International is a leading multi-jurisdictional law firm with a strong presence across Central Asia, the CIS, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. The agreement formalized Legum Solis’s role as India’s representative within the GRATA network — enabling the firm to collaborate on cross-border transactions, international arbitration, foreign direct investment, and multi-jurisdictional corporate matters.
Since the signing, the partnership has resulted in joint conference participations, shared client mandates, and a steadily growing international profile for Legum Solis. It is a relationship built on mutual trust, shared values, and a joint commitment to delivering world-class legal services — and it continues to open new opportunities for collaboration, thought leadership, and growth on the global stage.
Shashank Agarwal represented Legum Solis as a speaker and panellist at the 17th World Litigation Forum, held jointly with the 23rd Annual Conference of the International Intellectual Property Law Association (IIPLA) at the Pullman Dubai Creek City Center, Dubai, on January 22–23, 2024.
The forum brought together leading litigation practitioners, intellectual property experts, and international counsel from across the globe — spanning jurisdictions in Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. It is one of the premier international platforms for discourse on cross-border dispute resolution, litigation strategy, and the evolving landscape of international commercial law.
Shashank’s participation as a speaker and panellist reflects Legum Solis’s growing footprint on the international legal stage. His contributions to panel discussions on cross-border dispute resolution and the changing dynamics of international commercial litigation were a demonstration of the firm’s thought leadership — and of its ambition to be a voice that shapes conversation in the global legal community, not merely a participant in it.
Legum Solis, in association with GRATA International, participated as a Silver Partner at the Indo-French Investment Conclave organised by the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
The conclave was graced by the presence of H.E. Mr. Thierry Matthou, Ambassador of France in India; the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav; and the Hon’ble Minister for MSME, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Chetanya Kashyap. Partners Shashank Agarwal and Aayushi Singh represented the firm — engaging with Indian and French companies across multiple sectors and meeting with representatives of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDEC).
The participation reflects Legum Solis’s growing engagement with international business collaboration and its commitment to facilitating investment flows between India and global markets through the GRATA International platform. For the firm, the conclave was an opportunity to connect with investors, explore cross-border legal mandates, and reinforce the positioning of Legum Solis as a gateway for international businesses entering India — and Indian enterprises expanding globally.
